The Black Sea is promising factor in tourist projects
Its area is much larger than the territory of Bulgaria
-413,488 square kilometers. Thecoastline is 4090 kilometers,
the average depth is 1130 meters and the greatest depth
is 2245. Because of the low content of salt, twice less
thanthat in the Mediterranean and the dariatic seawater
is very translucent. Its
climate is mild and pleasant; the summer mean water temperature
is 23 degrees . The beach is long, clean and the sandis
fine and golden. Haze occurs seldom;there are no tides.Because
below 150 metersthe water abounds in hydrogen sulfide,
wildlife is scanty butthere are no sharks. the sea is
all around, it peeps from behind fences of the intimate
yards and trees in thetowns that are steeped in green;
the seagulls and the scent of iodine and seaweeds, the
sirens of the ships, the blinking lighthouse that steers
the traffic of shipsregistered underwhat no flags, the
roar of the waves attacking the shore keeps you awake
of its presence.
It's a very hospitable sea, without tides, without dangerous
predatory fish; even shark
is as long as 1-1.5 meters; the mostdangerous animals
are the sea cat, scorpaenid and the sea dragon as big
as a sailors palm. the water temperature invites swimming,
diving and other aquatic sports. thebottom is sandy and
shallow along the shore, so it's safe even for children.
In July and August vacationers can bask on the sand of the beach for 10-11 hours. there is nothing of the permanent cold
Baltic winds or the scorching summer heat of the Riviera. At daytime the breeze blows the sea to the shore.
